This film evokes Pakistan, seen from the point of view of daily life: the way in which a paint shop in Ralwapindi – Pakistan works. Specialised in the decorative painting of Bedford trucks, since colonial times, with a unique element of humour and fantasy. Jean Arlaud, from the Denis Diderot University of Paris, was a disciple of Jean Rouch, considered to be one of the founding fathers of ethnographic films.
