Synopsis
This is a documentary film about the Rasta way of life in Portugal. It shows how a group of people who believe in a non-violent philosophy live in the city (Lisbon). They are lovers of Reggae and of its messages of peace and love, and belief in Jah Rastafari, the son of God on earth, spread to the world principally through Bob Marley's songs. It also shows a family, the One Love Family, musicians and lovers of the Rasta philosophy, who choose to take themselves out of the system to go to “Babylon” in order to live a purer, healthier life in the countryside on the outskirts of Coimbra. They live off what the earth provides them with, and survive on the smallest amount of money possible. They feel themselves to be a little bit like prophets, as they predicted what would be, and what today is, life in the big cities. They take themselves out of the system as a means of remaining true to themselves, to their feelings and to their belief in Jah Rastafari.
