Synopsis
October 2000. A new era has begun in Serbia: Voijislav Kostunica, winner of the Yugoslavian presidential elections speaks to his “liberated” country as President of the Yugoslavian Federation. The vote had taken place on 24th September and Milosevic, just as had occurred in 1997, remained in power, manipulating the election results. Following opposition protests calling for a second round of votes, the opposition appealed for civil disobedience and thousands of demonstrators took to the streets. The Parliament and other institutions fell into the hands of the opposition and Milosevic was put to trial and forced to admit his electoral defeat. The film throws us into this conflict, giving us a view from the inside as we accompany Zoran and Svetlana, directors of a private film school.
