Shortly after the assassination of John F. Kennedy and following an invitation from his widow Jackie, Jonas Mekas spent several summers in Montauk with the family and children of the Kennedy clan (John Jr. and Caroline along with cousins Anthony and Tina Radziwill) introducing them to the art of movies, a relationship that makes these films a proof of the friendship and joy of those days.
