Synopsis
As a former british colony, India has inherited a huge and complex railway network. Travelling in India means that at some point if not for most of the time, you're going to use the train system to move across the country. This is true even for the locals.
'The name Himsagar is an amalgamation of 'Himā' (Sanskrit - Snow) and 'Sagarā' (Sanskrit - Sea) - denoting the route from Kashmir to the meeting place of three seas - the Indian Ocean, the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea - at Kanyakumari.'
This movie uses Super 8 to bring the warmth of the land and it's people to the West.
For 72 hours, stopping in about 77 stations, covering a total of 3751km, the Himsagar Express provides an unparallel sight changing scenery, and a variety of characters that become your everyday company.
