Synopsis
End of the day, French countryside.
A woman, my mother, is walking through the landscape in the Morvan where she chose to live because it reminded her of where she grew up, Morocco. She is a Communist Political refugee in opposition to the King Hassan II and has been living in exile for over twenty years.
In the Morvan she picks out landscapes from which, little by little, emerge the reminiscences of Morocco. A new land is invented by the woman in exile that is a country that does not exist, looming between her memory of the absent grounds and the presence of another, between her childhood long gone and a utopia to come.
Inside a mind-space of geography and time, the only country belonging to the exiled, gives rise similarly to spirits that might be in the house.
