Synopsis
"Old Johanne" is the fourth of five films for children from "The Yellow House" - a Copenhagen housing block. This is a series of five magical-realist stories about Chloë and Thea, two little girls who go off exploring their building in search of adventure: behind the neighbours' doors - right around the next corner.
In "Old Johanne" Chloë and Thea visit 87-year old Johanne who is bursting with life and fun - and has a soft spot for caretaker Bjorn.
A warm, poetic film for children about being old and staying young inside and about friendship across generations.
