Young director Maciej Piwowarczuk is presenting his own reflections and answers regarding immortal dilemma of the humanity “What true love is?”. Through interviews with 70 and 80 years old couples and individuals he tells us story about true love validate by tragic circumstances of the World War II. In our time of technicalisation and blind dates we have privilege to witness how heroic and simple Love can be at the some time. Alone army of young idealists has heroically fought against overwhelming elite German forces. Army left without any Red Army’s help and betrayed by great geopolitics. Final settlement with 2 months fierce fights without any hope for victory, 200.000 polish soldiers and civilians dead, capital of medium size European country razed to the ground
