Synopsis
The Vucciria is the oldest market and most legendary neighbourhood located with its narrow alleys and hidden places near the old port of Sicilian’s capital. Its population shrinked since Mafia organisations kicked out the poor people of the heart of the Sicilian capital with help of regional politicians. The Vucciria quarter is nowadays destroyed and abondoned but some of the old families still resist and try to survive in the challenging conditions. The Vucciria is still full of different palermitanian realities and a mirror of complex transformation processes of the town. Decayed and abandoned at first view the old Palermo is still flickering
