Synopsis
The Orthodox Christian Church is doing its best to tackle the specter of transition. In the post-Communist times, educated and dedicated priests and monks are bringing an air of changes. Nowadays, Orthodox priests and monks work in hospitals, help drug addicts, revive publishing and introduce catechism in elementary schools. In a nutshell - the Orthodox Church is increasingly drawn to secular life. Set to investigate these issues, two reporters from Serbia develop a deeply personal relationship with Bulgarian clergy, roads, architecture and cats. Their sequel-promising adventure is called Balkan Diaries: Bulgaria.
