Their names are Natalia, Luz or Elisabeth. There are hundreds of thousands of them in Italy today. They are “caregivers”.In actual fact they are in intimate communication with us, they share the same living space although often they do not communicate. They are silent witnesses of our most intimate family relationships, the relationship with our mothers and fathers. What image do they reflect of our “family nest”?
