ORPHEUS or IN SEARCH OF THE IMMORTALITY (DEBUT) First work A young artist sets off on a tour of the Orpheus' places throughout Bulgaria. In a manner both poetical and philosophical, the movie recounts about the spiritual quest of a young man, about Orpheus, about the Orphic teaching, which is in the base of the ancient Thracian culture, about the antique spiritual-historical roots of the Bulgarian and European civilization. The film shows Bulgarian archaeological excavations, connected to the times of Orpheus: Perperikon, Orpheus' sanctuary in Tatul village, the under-hill temples in the Valley of the Thracian kings, as well as sights of Bulgarian nature. This TV documentary is a message to all who are in their spiritual quest and mostly to the young people.
