Synopsis
Vituccio lives in close contact with nature, among olive trees, prickly pears and trulli. Every day he puts out to pasture his goats, never leaving them, recalling them through a variety of whistles, or throwing stones to check them, and, from time to time, running after one of them. One summer night of 2008 he sang with the “Orchestra of the Tarantula’s Night” in Melpignano: one hundred and fifty thousand people danced at his music in live tv broadcast. Since then Vituccio has a great visibility on tv, newspapers, and internet. His life, both simple and extraordinary, plunges the audience in popular, musical rhythms and rituals of an Apulian small town where we can get a close look at the changes in Southern Italy.
