To help Guatemala developping through infrastructure and school building projects is the common goal of the German organizations Esperanza, Oyak and Freundeskreis Zentralamerika. The film „Guatemala – On the way to school“ documents the project 2008 – from the application by the village to the building of the new school. The film accompanies volunteers from Germany working at the construction site and gives an insight into living in a village in the highlands of Guatemala.
