Synopsis
Complesso Serenissima is a residential neighbourhood in Via Anelli, Padua, composed by six buildings: 287 mini-apartments, 28 square meters each. The population of the neighbourhood is mostly immigrant people. In few years, Complesso Serenissima has become for everyone “Via Anelli’s ghetto”.
In 2005 the municipal administration of Padua decides to close the buildings despite the opposition of the proprietors which are all Italians. This process will take more than two years of work.
Via Anelli is a choral narration interlacing the lives of the residents and of the operators of the municipal administration.
