Synopsis
The film explores this universal human need to believe in miracles, the expressions that it takes and the consequences it creates, through a phenomenon that takes place at St George’s monastery on Prince’s island in Turkey. Every year, on the Saint’s name day, at least 100.000 Muslims visit the Christian monastery to pray for a miracle. They ask for a house, a car, a baby, a computer, a healing. Amongst the people who travel to the monastery are Suha and Deniz, a Muslim couple and Diamandis, a Christian, with requests to St George. Will the Saint grant their requests as he did last year?
