Last Words A document on Michel Houellebecq This documentary (60’) was shot on and off the set of the adaptation of ‘La Possibilité d’une Île’, Michel Houellebecqs’ first feature film as a director. Iggy Pop, at the same time an admirer and a long-time idol of Houellebecq contributed to this documentary with seven specially made songs. While Houellebecqs’ film depicts a future in which eternal life is possible for descendants of human beings, the documentary concentrates on the other storyline of Houellebecqs book: that of lost love, never ending goodbye’s and the ‘pure terror of space’.
