Synopsis
For 35 years now, over 170 people have been subsisting in the Community of Navarre on low incomes, albeit they lead a dignified life, from what other people discard. So many years of life in common and working on recycling have demonstrated that apparently “useless” people can live on apparently “useless” stuff. This documentary project seeks to acknowledge the work carried out by the “Traperos de Emaús”, while also analyzing the possibility that recycling should not merely become a daily habit throughout the world, but that it should also provide a source of income for new companies which base their activities valuing both the economic and social benefits.
