In the countries of Abruzzo Basilio D’Amico, an old player of diatonic accordion, lives with his wife who has been ill for many years. He spends his days taking care of his animals and his wife and playing in front of the fireplace or in front the doors of his house. This documentary is conceived like a project of documentation about the exceptional musical abilities of Basilio and after many time and a long frequentation (from 2001 to 2008) now it’s changed into the story of a intimate and personal meeting through the music. The time goes by with a slow and inexorable rhythm and the dismissal is approaching.
