Synopsis
Medusa is the name of an Italian submarine of the II World War. On January 30th, 1942, it was torpedoed by the English submarine Thorn. The Italian submarine sank in the Adriatic sea near the coast of Pola (Istria).
Big part of the crew died in the burst. Fourteen men remained alive at thirty metres deep, imprisoned in the submarine stern.
Torpedo-boats, submarines, steamboats, motorboats, a lighter and divers came to save them. On the sea bottom the sailors expected patiently, communicating through the thread of a telephone buoy with the rescuers on the surface. Then the wind rose, on the sea it started to snow...
