Thirty years after a revolution that made my family flee the country like thousands of Iranians, I've returned to Iran. With this journey throuh my country, I met the women who chose to stay and try to understand how they manage to keep on living with realities of the new regime. Woven like a colourful Persian carpet, the testimonies of these women coming from all walks of lives draw the complex motives of a traditional ancestral way of living in its never ending work of adaptation to the realities of today's Iranian society.
