Synopsis
“ItaliAvista [ItalyAtsight]” set itself as a « box» of stories about integration and cultural exchange. Four immigrants of Bologna, coming from Iran, Czech Republic, Guinea and Cameron, tell to an Italian friend their impact with Italian culture, and the video camera plays the role of simple observer, outside the conversation. From a “local” situation they come to touch upon universal issues, such as integration problems, difficulties in comprehension between persons of different backgrounds, and therefore of dialogue between cultures. Providing food for reflection on a new culture based “differences” where people get richer only if willing to get acquainted with “the other”, it offers a study about world variety and how it affects the interaction among people of different cultures
