2008 is the 20th anniversary of the formation of Surfin’ Bichos, one of the most influential bands of Spanish rock. “Buzos haciendo Surf” is a feature-length documentary that portraits the reunion tour of the band from Albacete. Around this road movie structure, we find different scenes that reveal stories from the past, but also hints of the future awaiting for the band members. Furthermore, we witness Surfin’ Bichos five last concerts. “Those final gigs were probably the best tour we´ve ever played” (Fernando Alfaro). It was the Autumn of 2006, twelve years after their breakup.
