Synopsis
A major artist of the 20th Century, Ewa Kuryluk has been an installation art pioneer since the beginning of the eighties. Her monumental draperies are works of sheer weightlessness, from which totally autobiographical characters suddenly reappear.
Raising the mask of tragedy, of death and of representation, Ewa Kuryluk’s theatrical staging totally disrupts the points of reference between reality and symbolism, and offers a link between sensibility and intelligibility.
Consequently; the film explores both what goes on behind the scenes of the artist’s creation as well as the making of the film itself.
