In 2005, Hana Jakrlova begun photographing the Big Sister, Internet Brothel in Prague. Fascinated by the ways Internet changes our world, and challenged by the subject, Hana explored the extreme, surprising and world-wide effect, Internet has on our sense of intimacy and privacy. BIG SISTER. BECAUSE OF YOU tell the genesys of the Hana Jakrlova work, giving voice at the photographer and at the same time at the Big Sister People as owner, clients, girls,..revealing the world on the backstage of the virtual sex in the the unique, Internet Brothel .Interviews are interpolated with an Hana Jakrlova backstage shooting in the Big Sister Room in a such of psychedelic/surreal and dreamlike narration.
