Synopsis
The Dacia Express is not only the direct railway connection between Vienna and Bucharest, but also a meeting place for people from different (cultural) backgrounds. Two Roma, deceived by their employer; a Canadian backpacker; an educated Romanian woman, unable to find a job in her home country and a young man from Moldova travelling home from a job interview in Vienna. They get to know each other, their languages and prejudices as well as their personalities and individual histories, captured by a – neither hidden nor unseen – camera.
