Synopsis
Love stories of Brazilian celebrations in the land men love: Salvador, Bahia. Columbina seeks out her roots during the time men dream, carnival. Pierrô falls in love with her. Their meeting is swathed in magic. Among ardent bouquets of kisses, Columbina discovers her homeland; Lucas Ajuricaba, who has recently graduated in biology, arrives in Manaus to study the Amazon. As he walks through town he passes a beautiful woman and follows her. When he comes to the Boi-Bumbá celebrations on Parinns Island, Brazil’s largest folklore spectacle;the anthropologist Pedro meets Tony in an old community of former slaves in Sergipe. They fall in love with the same young woman at a large country celebration.
