Blues music has always been associated with slavery and trains. Leo Cayuela is an underground Blues musician, who works in Barcelona’s public transport network, but not the kind found busking in a station corridor: he is a subway conductor who records his music in secret rooms and spaces where nobody can see him. He’s not asking for money, he just searches for the perfect acoustics and in doing so breaks the chains of modern slavery: work.
