Families and friends of those who ended with their lives live their pain in loneliness, surrounded by stigma and feelings of guilt and shame. “It’s something very intimate, a secret you don’t want anybody to know about”. Survivors is a documentary in which the voices of relatives of people who committed suicide and of those who failed in their attempts rise against the taboo that still surrounds suicide.
