The attempt to mise-en-scene the theatrical play “Tartessos”, masterpiece of Miguel Romero Esteo (acknowledged Spanish author, winner of several prizes and even candidate to the Nobel prize) serves to the discovery of an ancient civilization in Southern Spain, the first of Western people, even before the Greeks, in this corner of the Mediterranean. Martin and Ariana, drama students, challenge the rehearsals as a sort of battle between mythical brothers for the heritage of the Kindgom of Tartessos. Reality and fiction tangle in amazing landscapes and ruins, as ancient and traditional music seem to revive the Past. Will Martin get the piece in stage?
