The movie was shot in the deep tropical jungle in Peru and presents one day of life of the people in a small village named Salado. It shows how they go through the routine of the day and how they celebrate the St John festivities. It consists of poetic, cinematic language where there is no voice over comments, just images speaking for themselves – that’s the approach. We would call it a poetic documentary. The film completes with the spiritual leader, the shaman - the plant healer, who is the only one speaking to the audience. He provides the session of healing the boy and talks about his spiritual beliefs –who we are as human beings and what Nature and Earth means for human kind.
