While young Emmanuel adjusts easily to his new surroundings, his younger sister has a more difficult time. Feeling lost and frustrated, Peace struggles to assert her identity and eventually returns to Canada to attend university., But life becomes infinitely more complicated for the entire family when Peace becomes pregnant.
