Short documentary depicting the Reggionarra educational festival that mobilizes the city of Reggio Emilia, birthplace of the Reggio Approach. During 2 days in June, the city of Reggio Emilia in northern Italy becomes the stage for dozens of plays, circus acts, storytellers, puppeteers, cartoon artists, musicians - all dedicated to the entertainment of young children and their families, in an attempt to increase social and metropolitan integration, as well as establish a notion of cultural identity. Narrated by the festival organizers, members of Reggio Children and the Fondazione Malaguzzi, this documentary explains the how's and the why's behind this event and its significance regarding the region's unique approach to early education.
