Sinopse
Arnold is a “monster”. He sees reality in its absurd essence and nothing can touch him deeply inside anymore. By now he has come out of the human condition. Life goes on around him, absurd and devoid of meaning. The man must be absurd, indifferent, meaningless to be able to live, a condition that Arnold does not accept. In front of the calendar he decides the date of his suicide, a random day. For him death is indifferent and he plans it as if he was planning a dinner, a date, life in general. During the period that separates him from that day, Arnold meets people and he feels emotions and life's meaning, but just for a few moments. He looks at life that continues to go on as always, without finding anything that can move him closer to it., The story is inspired by the last sentence written by Cesare Pavese before committing suicide (I forgive everyone and I ask forgiveness to everyone. Is that all right? Do not gossip too much) and by the Albert Camus' poetics of absurd.
