After four years of exile from Afghanistan, Irfani reaches Paris in April 2011. He finds shelter below an aerial metro station, on a basketball playground where forty other Afghan live. More than two years pass before he gets an answer to his asylum application. Meanwhile, Irfani discovers France, its culture, its customs and learns French slowly. Throughout his story, Irfani shares with us his daily life and his kind vision of France. He reveals his past, his religious education, his vision of Eastern and Western worlds and his refusal to rally to the Taliban. A past that will be questioned by the judges of the French Asylum Court.
