An official documentary about the German atrocities and the concentration camps compiled with footage shot by cameramen accompanying troops as they liberated occupied Europe. It was ordered in April 1945 by the Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force and was to be the film screened in Germany after the fall of the Third Reich. Screening followed by a debate with David Walsh from the Imperial War museum, one of the responsibles for the film’s restorarion.
