Sinopse
A film on and in a station… Yes, the Gare du Nord… The biggest station in Europe, the third in the world… It is of course an excessive and disproportionate setting for a film. It’s an open place, both modern and ancient. And, moreover, the Gare du Nord is five or six stations all piled on top of each other: the RER station, the metro, the suburban train station, the regional train station, the main line station, the Eurostar and the bus station above the new glass roof. It’s the station of DIVERSITY… What does the Gare du Nord do to human beings? At random, of course, via a successful cinematic encounter and with the idea of discovering the journey that leads a person here, to one specific spot in the station. Their journey but not just on that one day. The path followed by that person to arrive at this place, be they from London, Paris, Aubervilliers, Brazzaville or Tizi Ouzou. Their life’s path, their personal geography.
