In 2009 the high speed was going to link Barcelona with Paris. Actually the track is not completed and the ¨connection¨ is reduce to the stretch Figueres – Perpiñan, that crosses the border between France and Spain by the Pertús tunnel. A story about the relationship between the high and the low speed at this boarder point, between the process of construction of a viaduct and people living with the transformation of its landscape. The high speed as a half-reality, as a future that is constantly coming. Velocity interweaves stories in the space and time: A group of workers who build for a year the viaduct over the Fluviá River. A priest that drives on roads modified by the works of the high speed line. A shepherd and his flock on the margins of the track. Time stopped at the old international stations of Cerbère and Portbou, and Pertús new tunnel, through which runs the TGV blurring the border between Spain and France to 300km/h.
