Juma is unemployed and like many other young Kenyans, he dreams of a better life abroad. One day he meets a British woman, and Europe suddenly gets closer. Juma is one of many so called 'beach boys' on the coast of Mombasa - boys who date older European 'sugar mamas' because they hope to achieve money, success or a visa to Europe. Or at least try to live like the rich Europeans for a couple of weeks. In this vérité documentary we follow Juma as he embarks on a relationship with Lynn, an older British woman who is in Kenya on holiday. The film explores their relationship and the underlying themes of romance, exploitation and post colonialism.
