In Mexico, every Saturday evening, the inhabitants of Alberto stage the illegal crossing of the border. Former migrants, temporarily back from the South of the United States, the organisers of this role play, personify policemen, smugglers, thieves, drug traffickers. As for the tourists, they put themselves in the place of illegal migrants. Caminata Nocturna (replay) conveys the encounter of Alberto villagers and four strangers as they recreate some of the scenes of this role play. As a result, a long journey deep into the night when the intricacy of the play and of life are confronted.
