Chana is a young girl originally from Manto Parpay, a small community in the Peruvian Andes. She has had to move away from her family to a shelter in Cusco in order to study and fulfill the dream they all share. While she attends school in Cusco her parents, Sabino and Elisa, farm the fields under the tough Andean Sun. Beyond the high mountains, there are hopes for a better future, dreams that will improve their lives. Going to Cuba and study medicine is theirs.
