In 1958, Ernersto Ché Quevara arrives to Ciego de Ávila, a small town in Cuba. A young physically disabled boy called Juan Olimpio Valcárcel helps the commander. Ernesto promises to take “Tin” to Havana after the revolution is won. Soon Ché gets a chance to fulfil his promise, but a tragic accident changes everything. Back in Tin’s home town, his spirit lives just as strong as the memory of the revolution. The stories of the brave little boy and life in today’s Cuba are presented through physically disabled Eric Manuel. Ché’s contemporaries share their memories of the guerrilla leader, the child and the history of Cuba.
