These places hide much beauty, evocation and historical charge, which acts as the film’s starting point and a frame in which to contemplate, wonder and reflect on their transformations. Human beings have the capacity to conserve, transform and reuse abandoned places thus reducing the pressures of urban growth on the environment as well as preserving their heritage and cultural identity. 'Abandoned?' presents, narrates and compares the opinions, reflections and results of work by different people involved with the conservation or transformation of abandoned places.
