Sinopse
Luc Bondy? Frank Castorf? Pina Bausch? Not at all. The Film "Effi-Hasi" spent one year following the fate of a small theatre company far away from any metropolitan hotspot. Nevertheless this film tells a lot about the daily sacrifice and heavy workload of people devoting their life to theatre.

"Effi-Hasi" portrays three productions: Gilles Tschudi fights the publishers ban of his play and for the inspiration of his main actor. Uwe Schönbeck, a former tenor at the opera, is struggeling with his health and learning the contrabass. And the theatre principal finds tragedy not only in "Romeo and Juliet", but also within the budget planning for the upcoming season...
