The story of one day of my summer I’ll remember all my life The tragedy in Crimsk took place on the evening of July 6 into the morning of July 7, from Friday to Saturday. According to the residents, the main water strike took place between 1a.m. and 3a.m. The local population was not warned about what would happen. The notification system in the city did not work. When the residents became quickly flooded, they tried to call for help to the rescue service, to the local government, to the police, to Emergency Services and many others. But not one of them answered! The people were left alone, one-on-one with nature. The flooding covered not just Krimsk, but also a slew of nearby communities. Many people were killed, the exact number of which will not be known for some time…
