It is the fall of the year, autumn in the small farmhouse of La Cañada de Andrea, located on the folds of the hills of the Sierra de Gádor (Almeria). It is there that Juan Ruiz Miralles, the talented painter from Almeria, begins work on a new painting. It will be created from a base of collages made from dried leaves from the chumbera tree. While Miralles is working on his painting, the seasonal chores on the farm are also being carried out by Lola (his wife), and Manuel (a faithful farmhand). They work tenaciously on the chores and tasks on the farm. Meanwhile, some fox are seen prowling around the area…
