Several characters intersect in the way between Asturias and America throughout the twentieth century. Those were the years of emigration, Spanish civil war, decay of the rural life and, above all, the years of cinema, where fiction and reality melt to rewrite history. In 1976, an aged man called Braulio Garcia settled in a little hotel in Pravia, central Asturias. He is back to the region after spending a couple of decades in the United States and quickly became famous for the stories he used to tell to his friends. Those stories were spread through the neighbourhood and the regional press: Braulio is the father of a Hollywood artist who will come to visit him in a couple of weeks.
