The Red Army soldiers are taking those suspected in the August revolt, among them those who had nothing to do with the uprising, on the Tirifona field, are staging the scene of their flight and opening fire. The dwellers of the nearby villages see a terrible picture next morning – 24 dead and abandoned bodies . Among these Georgians there were the bodies of brothers, the Archpriest Petre and the priest Andre Karbelashvili . During Bolshevik rule, despite pressure, persecution and repression none of them rejected priesthood. They found and published a lot of abandoned and forgotten materials about Georgian history and music. The story of Karbelashvili brothers is a story of Georgia’s survival.
