When I was a child, I was told my grandfather Pepe had died. Later I found out that after the Spanish Civil War he had emigrated to Argentina. My grandmother Maria never knew anything else about him. Alone and with three children, she was forced to leave Spain, starting the family diaspora which keeps us scattered around the world: France, Colombia, Poland, and Canada. This autobiographical film is a trip against time and oblivion that raises questions and hides unexpected discoveries: pieces of the fragmented image of my grandfather Pepe, of whom I only have an incomplete map.
