Sinopse
On August 13, 1976, Javier Verdejo was killed by the Guardia Civil as he tried to paint graffiti on a wall: “Bread, work and freedom”. The young man’s father had been the mayor of Almería under the dictatorship and, after receiving the condolences of President Adolfo Suárez, none of his relatives would report it as a crime. The incident would be published in a controversial official version that exempted the authorities of any responsibility. In this piece, the director films Rafael Verdejo, the murdered man’s nephew who is now the same age his uncle was when he died, and shares in his process of reflection about his death and memory.
